Specific to this MS, we also find the following items: - a copy of an article by Alice Werner entitled ‘A traditional poem attributed to Liongo Fumo. With Notes on his Legend’; - 3 letters of correspondence between the British Museum, Hichens, and Alice Werner; - 1 page, in Swahili, about the Segeju people, in relation to Liyongo, from ‘Habari za Mrima’ by Sh. Ali bin Hemedi el-Buhuriy; - 3 leaves of the ‘Hadithi ya Liongo na Nduuyakwe Mdogo’, as told by Juma bin Mbwana. |
