520 3    |a The first item of this manuscript is a Kasida, a seven stanzas poem, in Arabic, written by a Sufi scholar. This is followed by another poem written also by a Sufi scholar, addressing Sheikh Abdul-Qadir, the leader of the Twariqa-l-qadiriyya brotherhood. Afterwards, we find sections of the translation of the Maulidi ya Barzanji. These sections are however not in order and are very scattered, therefore the translation is not complete. For a more complete version see Mss 279888, vol. 6 (342), vol. 8 (369) (Allen), and 380058 (Knappert). The MS ends with a small collection of religious poems in Arabic. The poems glorify and praise God and ask for protection for the Islamic community. A few poems address Sh. Abdul-Qadir, the leader of the Twariqa-l-qadiriyya brotherhood, who was considered a Saint. At the end, we also find some information, in prose, on how to join a religious brotherhood.
