Abstract:
This section of the collection classified as SL contains very detailed bibliographies of various disciplines within the Social Sciences. Envelope SL/1 contains 29 pages of bibliography relating to Anthropology and the study of Languages and Cultures. The second one (SL/2) contains a list of Articles published in Anthropological and Linguistics Journals, again with emphasis on issues related to the relationship between language and culture. The third envelope (SL/3) contains the bibliography for a Seminar in Anthropology. The long list is divided into 12 sections, including Language, Social relations, Ecological relations, Politics, and Rituals. Finally, in SL/4 we found the E. E. Evans-Pritchard’s bibliography as compiled by himself in 1964. Evans-Pritchard was a pioneer anthropologist of the British school. ( en )
