- Abstract:
- In this section there are two envelopes (SL/23-SL/24) that contain first miscellaneous papers and press cuttings, in both English and Swahili, regarding the Tanganyika railways African union, the Sisal and Plantation workers union, and the Tanganyika Federation of labour. The press cuttings include an article by Julius Nyerere dated 1962 in which he states his political visions. The Other envelope contains a paper by William Hellmuth, Director of the Economic Research Bureau, about the role of Finance in Economic development. The paper was presented at the East African Academy in Dar-es-Salaam in 1966. ( en )
