In this section there are four press cuttings dated 21st April 1972, attesting the death of Prof. W H Whiteley during a visit to Indiana University, USA. Whiteley is highly regarded and remembered as an authority on Bantu languages. The cuttings provide also biographical information about the Swahili scholar. ( en )
