In this short letter Mbarak bin Aqil invites Taylor to attend a karamu, a festival with celebrations, at the kiunga-ni, an orchard plantation on the outskirts of the town where wealthy people go for holiday and celebrations. The owner has called his kiunga-ni Dar-es-Salaam (place/town of peace). ( en )
