There are four photographs, respectively, of Mbarak Ali Hinawy, of Sir Ali bin Salim, of Hashima binti Sheikh, daughter of Mwana Kupona, and of an unnamed lady. A drawing with Arabic inscription is also enclosed This section also contains theoretical information about Swahili songs as a genre, with some extracts of songs.
