Notes

Abstract:
This section opens with two fairly long poems in the Utendi form. The first Utendi does not have a title. The second is entitled ‘Utendi wa Isipani’. This Utendi is to be found in Mss 45022, 47779, and 380552, also under the title ‘Utenzi wa Qatirifu (Wadi Isban)’. There follow miscellaneous poetic songs as in the previous item; here too ‘Qala shairi’ is used as the opening of the poem. This section also contains two pages of an index of poems, which seems to be a Table of Contents for a book. The Table is divided by means of authors/poets and their poems. ( en )
