- Abstract:
- This short shairi is a waadhi, or religious poem, that gives instruction to the community about proper religious behaviour. The poem gives examples of misconduct by non-religious people to prove that it is wiser to follow religious values. The author is named as Abdallah bin Mwakilio al-Bajunyi; ‘Mwakilio’ refers to the author’s ethnic sub-group, which is part of the Bajuni linguistic group. ( en )
