Notes
- Abstract:
- This section is the continuation of MS 53507c, and this is why the first line of this section starts half way through the sentence. This section deals with the 17th century history of the Pate Sultanate at the time of Sultans Abubakar III and Abubakar IV. It also provides information on the relation between Pate and Mombasa at the time of Portuguese colonisation. The final pages provide information and tables of the Nabahan Dinasty up to AD1700. A letter to Hichens by a colonial secretary of Kenya, regarding information about the city of Shagga, is also included. ( en )
