Notes

Abstract:
This manuscript seems to be the final draft copy of MS 53492, and we find the same material organized in the same way. Here, as opposed to the main copy, there are handwritten notes and comments on the side of many pages, most probably done by Hichens. This section of MS 53492 contains historical information on the life and works of Fumo Liyongo, with extracts from songs and poems ascribed to the Swahili hero. As the content is the same as MS 53492, we refer to the description of the catalogued Mss 205000 and 53492. ( en )
