Abstract:
This manuscript contains an oral history account, with copy, of the Anankali people who are part of the Aniramba ethnic group of Iramba, in the former Tanganyika Territory. The first page provides general information on the Ananlali people written by Hichens, and the following pages give an oral history account as told by the elders of the community, written down by Hichens. The cataloguers were, thus, unable to read the manuscript because it is written in the language of the Anankali people. ( en )
