- Abstract:
- This second part of PP MS 20-5 contains the constitution and related papers of the Britain-Tanzania society when it was established. The first inaugural meeting was held on the 28th of February 1975 at the Royal Commonwealth Society, in London. This section also contains material relating to the publication of Allen’s book about Swahili Arabic script entitled ‘Arabic script for Students of Swahili’ published by the Tanganyika Notes and Records in 1945. Included are also letters of correspondence between Allen and the Tanganyika Notes and Records Editorial Board regarding the publication of the booklet. ( en )
