Notes
- Abstract:
- This MS contains a poem that translates, from Arabic into Swahili, the 99 names of Allah. The translation is line by line and the poem is missing the first few stanzas. The original book in Arabic used by the unknown author is entitled ‘Twayyibu Asmaa’, which literally refer to the whole 99 names of the Prophet, but it is also the title of the book listing all the names. The author also uses another book entitled ‘Swalat ya Mudhariya’ to narrate the life of the Prophet. ( en )
