Notes

Abstract:
This manuscript contains two item. First there is a six pages poem about Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet Mohammed, and her husband Ali when Ali married his second wife. This is not a story faithful to Islamic history, but seems to have been created by the unknown Swahili author. Second, there is a long poem, in the Utendi form, lamenting the death of the famous religious scholar, Muhammad bin Adnan, who was considered a saint by his community. ( en )
