520 3    |a This house owner has abandoned building half way as the funds have run out. The small grants distributed by the government and lack of planning for the reconstruction after the 2015 earthquake has resulted in such abandoned construction sites. Taken during the 1st phase of fieldwork conducted by the research team based at Social Science Baha in Kathmandu, Nepal, as part of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, ‘Expertise, Labour and Mobility in Nepal’s Post-Conflict, Post-Disaster Reconstruction’.
