- Abstract:
- Journal of Archibald Murray, October - December 1866, describing his voyage from Samoa on board the Hamburg brig Lusanne to the Ellice Islands to 'visit the stations and explore new fields with a view to future occupation'. Islands visited include Niua, Nukulaelae, Funafuti, Vaitupu, Nukufetau, Nanumea, and Nui. He also mentions reports of continuing activity of slave ships in the islands. ( en )
