General Note:
Barpak was the epicentre of the 2015 earthquake and suffered extensive damage and was the focus of initial efforts of reconstruction efforts of the government and the donors. Most of the residential houses have been rebuilt, albeit on a smaller scale than before, using mostly concrete and corrugated iron sheets.
