Notes

General Note:
The temple of Silu Mahadev (Fasi Dega) on the eastern side of the Bhaktapur Palace was damaged in the 1934 earthquake and built to smaller scale with a Mughal dome on top. After this smaller temple collapsed, the locals decided to build it to pre-1934 design with local donations/funding and using local materials and skills.
General Note:
Funded by GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund) through AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council), Grant number AH/P003648/1, as "After the Earth's Violent Sway: the tangible and intangible legacies of a natural disaster", Dr. Michael Hutt, Principal Investigator.
