Notes
- General Note:
- The destruction of the iconic Dharahara in the earthquake was symbolic of the loss suffered in the earthquake. Its reconstruction out of Nepal's own resources was supposed to have been the cornerstone of earthquake recovery process, and people generously contributed cash for its reconstruction. However, its delayed reconstruction with the decision not to rebuild the old Dharahara and instead have a modern building around it has been emblematic of the earthquake-reconstruction process.
