- General Note:
- This inscription from 2012 at the base of the statue of the then Rana Prime Minister Juddha Shamsher Rana makes clear that this statue was erected in 1939 as part of the permission sought by a devotee to offer a statue of the founder of the monastery. Judhha had proclaimed waiver of loans taken for reconstruction after the 1934 earthquake the previous year.
