General Note:
This statue of the then Rana Prime Minister Juddha Shamsher Rana was erected in 1939 around the time he proclaimed waiver of loans for reconstruction of the 1934 earthquake. This statue was erected as part of the permission sought by a devotee to offer a statue of the founder of the monastery.
