General Note:
Patan Durbar Square is one of the three palace complexes in the Kathmandu Valley, built by the kings of Patan, surrounded by temples and open courtyards. Additional features of these palace complexes were the stone columns topped with statues of either the kings themselves or some mythical creatures.
