Notes

General Note:
The Kasthamandap, supposed to have been built out of a single tree, was completely destroyed in the earthquake. Since the locals worship its deity daily and on a regular basis, a temporary shrine was placed in the open destroyed site pending its reconstruction.
General Note:
Funded by GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund) through AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council), Grant number AH/P003648/1, as "After the Earth's Violent Sway: the tangible and intangible legacies of a natural disaster", Dr. Michael Hutt, Principal Investigator.
