- General Note:
- The Hanuman Dhoka palace complex was the traditional seat of Kathmandu rulers where Nepali kings were crowned. The Nautale Darbar (nine-storey palace) was one of the tallest structures in the complex. It suffered extensive damange in the 2015 earthquake. It is being rebuilt with Chinese aid.
