General Note:: Government and many other organisations were quick to supply materials such as corrugated iron sheets to earthquake-displaced people to construct temporary housing structures. Some of these temporary structures were built lare enough to accommodate large families. These temporary structures were hot and humid in the summer and cold in the winter.
