Notes
- General Note:
- Most of the rural houses are constructed with stones and mud mortar without any reinforcement. This makes them particularly vulnerable to shaking during earthquakes when the stones break loose, leading to collapse of the house. Deurali lies close to the epicentre of the largest aftershock on 12 May.

- Funded by GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund) through AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council), Grant number AH/P003648/1, as "After the Earth's Violent Sway: the tangible and intangible legacies of a natural disaster", Dr. Michael Hutt, Principal Investigator.
