- General Note:
- The settlement of Chisapani, lying on a ridge famous for sunrise views, exclusively catered to tourists trekking the Helambu/Langtang circuit and increasingly the weekend crowds from Kathmandu. Most of these hotels were built on government land without permit and with the buffer zone of the nearby national park being extended, these hotels are not likely to rebuilt. Most of the hotel owners have shifted to lower down the hill to build their hotels.
