Notes
- Abstract:
- Outer Museum. --- The Outer Museum houses a variety of ritual objects including an unusual group of carved and brightly painted wood figures which were donated in the late 19th century and were probably housed in other areas within the temple in earlier times. These figures depict two of the ‘Four Sights’ – an old man and a sick man – encountered by Prince Siddhartha when he left the palace. ( en )
