- George Chinnery (Chinese traditional: 喬治·錢納利, Chinese simplified: 乔治·钱纳利) was based in Macao from 1825 until his death in 1852, making frequent trips to Guangzhou through 1832 and Hong Kong through 1846.
- General Note:
- Inscribed "Printed by [illegible] Robert Morrison". Assuming this statement to be true, this drawing was made before Morrion's death in 1832. Morrison's death may have been a factor in Chinnery quitting Guangzhou that year.
