- Biographical history: Dr Francis Rath was a Catholic physician. In 1947, Rath was a student at St Joseph's school in Baramulla, Kashmir and was a survivor of the raid on the Baramulla convent. His family was divided following Partition, his mother, brother and sister lived in Pakistan.
