General Note:
Biographical history: Sir Peter Scott, KBE, CMG was born in 1917. He served in Delhi as Assistant Private Secretary to the Viceroy of India, 1946-1947. Scott was later British Ambassador to Norway (1975–1977). He died in 2002.
