Wildtrack and interviews (all in Punjabi) recorded in Husseinpura
and Shariffpura, two areas of Amritsar once overwhelmingly Muslim
but now with no Muslims at all; area has a number of mosque
buildings still standing - none in active use (tho one has a mazar
which is still honoured by local people), and two we saw now
gurdwaras; narrow streets and alleyways, crwoded, but not poor;
some of the older buildings have fine wood and plaster work, and a
few have inscriptions in Urdu or Arabic [19/3/97]
