Biographical history: A.C. Jolly was born in 1928. He was a Hindu and grew up in village of Dhaka near Ludhiana. He served as Group Captain in the Indian Air Force.

Biographical history: Raj Rajeshwari Jolly, a Hindu, grew up in the mixed village Sajanpur near Pathankot. She was the wife of Group-Captain Abhash Chander Jolly.

Biographical history: Harbhajan Singh Puri, a Sikh, was in Lahore as a student during Partition. He left Lahore on a train to Delhi. He became a government engineer in India.

Biographical history: Mrs Hardeep Puri; a Sikh, grew up in East Punjab. She was with her family in Patiala in 1947. She was the wife of Harbhajan Singh Puri, a government engineer.
