- Biographical history: Khubchand Bhatia was a Hindu Pakistani liquor trader in Karachi. He was from longstanding Karachi family and President of 'Hindu Panchayat Karachi Division'.

- Biographical history: Jasibai Bhatia was the wife of Khubchand Bhatia. In 1947, she left with her Hindu family to India but later returned to Karachi.
