Notes
- General Note:
- The photograph is captioned: 'A group of mision workers in the Ikongo forest. These men belong to three different tribes, viz. Hova, Betsileo and Tanala. Four of the younger men were brought up in heathenism. After a few years in the village school at Sahanambolitra, they continued their studies in the station school at Ambalavao. This was followed by a course of study in the Bible School. Three of these boys are doing remarkably good work among people of their own tribe. T.E. Buck'.
