manabatisa, to baptize ; batisaina, be baptized; anabatisana,fana-
batisana, and fanabatisa; also mpanabcitisa, baptist. From korona
(which I would use instead of lakirona, seeing that the latter form
is not yet so thoroughly incorporated into the language as to
make the change difficulty we get manakorona, or manorona, to
crown ; koronaina, to be crowned; anakoronana, or anoronana ;
fanakoronana, or fanoronana ; fanakorona, or fanorona. I will
also give some words which have been introduced, or pro-
bably will be introduced, and as opposita fuxta se posita magis
illucescunt, I will put down the forms resulting from the present
mode of treating foreign words, and, side by side with them, the
forms that would result from the method of treatment here pro-
posed. We want, for instance, a word for confirmation, so we
take the noun and make it konfirmasiona. But, instead of doing
this, I should prefer taking the root of the Latin...”
