Abstract:
This manuscript, copied on paper in two columns in regular bolorgir (round hand) script, is of the sixteenth century. It has no colophon, hence its date and provenance are unknown. However, the scribe has left several discreet memorials seeking prayers from future generations for the salvation of the soul of 'the unworthy scribe Movses'. A later inscription dated 8 November 1774 records that an Armenian priest named Ter Hovhannes gave the manuscript 'to a certain Englishman named Brown'. ( en )
