Abstract:
Lacquer chest containing three sets of Burmese Kammavaca or Buddhist manuscripts and wooden cover boards, the largest 14 x 61 x 4cm. The square script lacquered in the 'tamarind seed' style relates to ordination, donations, consecration of a new building or curing sickness. ( en )
