Abstract:
Tomshi of Nankam smoking a pipe and wearing a cloth with a white median band painted with symbols (tsunkotepsü). If these include circles, it means he has taken heads; if there are mithun heads, he has also done the mithun sacrifice. The photograph was taken in the garden of Mill's bungalow at Mokokchung, where many visitor used to come along. ( en )
