Abstract:
A young Ao woman with her hair bound up with white thread, showing she is of the Mongsen group. She wears large brass rings on either side of her head (yongmen), supported by a string. Bunches of red chillies worn in her ears mean that she is the daughter of a man who has performed the mithun sacrifice. ( en )
