- General Note:
- The inscription accompanying this battle scene explains that the evil rebels in a sudden upsurge were ravishing women and seizing people's personal property. It was difficult to come up with a plan to be able to move away the people. The officials raised their troops to capture and kill the rebels. Finally the long-haired rebels were driven away and the city god appeared to offer the cities of Yangzhou and Zhenjiang everlasting peace.
