- Also attributed to Octavian Dalvimart, engraved by various artists, and published by William Miller in a volume entitled 'Costume Of Turkey' (London, 1802). This is likely not the case as the style of this illustration is different from that of Dalvimart. Indeed, Dalvimart appears to have been a copist; his images and their settings bear a strong likeness to those of Cousinéry.

- Eastern Rumelia was an autonomous province of the Ottoman Empire from 1878 to 1908 in what is now southern Bulgaria. Rumelia, at one time, included the larger part of historic Rumelia, including what is now northeastern Greece.
