Notes

Abstract:
This story is taken from the famous Ming dynasty novel the Water margin, written by Shi Naian. The warrior hero Wu Song is seen subduing a troublesome tiger with his bare fists. His bravery in quelling the tiger heedless of the risks sets an impressive example of selfless altruism. ( en )
