- Mrs Howe’s illness. Relations with Mr Thomson. Forbidden to preach at Papeete Conversion of Tariirii, one of the young natives previously taken by Governor Bruat to France, and now Captain of fort at Point Venus. Queen’s children removed from Papetoai and placed again with Mr Thomson at Papeete owing to an accident which befell one of them at the former place. Candidates corning forward for the Institution.
