Abstract:: Manuscript report concerned with the failed indictment of Mr Whitehouse a sectarian preacher who was prosecuted in Jamaica for preaching, teaching and lecturing without a license and doing all of these things as a member of a dissenting religious sect. The Colonial Office over-turned the indictment. This is a transcript of extracts probably taken from The Royal Gazette, October to November 1828. ( en )
