Reports in detail on the results of a 'Conference of the brethren... held in Hong Kong in compliance with the wishes of the Directors expressed in a letter of December 31st 1842' [Conference of Missionaries, Hong Kong, August 1843, which was followed by a general Convention of Missionaries, Hong Kong, 22 August-4 September 1843, attended by Dyer, Medhurst, Hobson, Legge, Alexander and John Stronach, Milne and J.
