Abstract:
Illness due to too arduous study of Chinese. After eight months study conducts services in Chinese. Chinese students and their attainments. School for girls in Chinese taken charge of by Mrs Legge. Queries the necessity of a paddle-boat for Malacca as had been proposed. Regarding the necessity of more information and instruction to future missionaries by the Home Board. ( en )
