- Earthquake in Caracas and St. Vincent on night of April 30/May 1 - thought the noise was a naval battle. Start worshipping in new chapel following Sunday. Mr. Robley has now paid his subscription, Directors should have sent reminders. General wish that the Mission should be permanent. Traces course of Directors attitude to expense of Mission, and to himself. Blames them for the humiliation of a dishonored bill. ( en )
