Abstract:
Draft to Richard Elliot. Special Directors Meeting has considered his letter of October 11, 1811, along with one from T. Adam in its support. As the Mission is much too expensive he is to succeed E. Pidgeon at the Bay of Chaluers, New Carlisle [this is tantamount to cutting his connection with the Missionary station] - Grimshaw or someone else will take charge of London Missionary Society property. No reflection on him for want of economy or lack of success. Instructions regarding the new job. ( en )
